Val, A very informative article indeed. When campe for more than two days and if not driving omewhere each day I run the diesel engine at advanced idle speed off the handthrottle for 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes at midday and 20 minutes in the evening. This seems to keep the auxilliary battery topped up. I have not done an exact study of this but will endeavour to do one this year when we are out in the
